Seen on a White Board
The technology may be a bit old school but White Boards are among the most popular items at VCU Libraries. Students tend to set up a study area and often use the White Board as a visual barrier to the larger room to help focus their attention on their studies. A common courtesy is to write “In Use” across the back of the board so that other students know it is being actively used and do not take it for their own use.
Wheeled White Boards are one of the items that gifts to The Friends of VCU Libraries (the VCU Libraries Annual Fund) can help to purchase and the boards do wear out from near constant use. If you are looking for a way to help all VCU Students this year, please consider a gift to the Friends of VCU Libraries.
