Learn more about Adobe Express and Adobe Acrobat this June
We are excited to announce that the Adobe Education Institute (AEI) is back from June 8th to 11th, and all faculty and staff are invited.
The Adobe Education Institute is a free, virtual professional development global conference designed to support faculty and staff in enhancing teaching, learning, and digital skills.
This year’s event has more pathways for you to pick from including opportunities to engage not only in Adobe Express but also Adobe Acrobat. Below is a quick overview of each pathway:
Pathway I: Adobe Express Foundation
- Adobe Express: an introduction to this tool
- Video: Creating and editing short‑form video content in Adobe Express
- Webpages: Creating clear, engaging webpages in Adobe Express
Pathway II: Advanced Adobe Express
- Building Branded Materials and Projects: create cohesive, on‑brand materials and reusable templates
- Building Reusable Presentation Templates
- Elevate Your Audio: Podcasting & Multimedia Creation
Pathway III: Empowered Workflows with Adobe Acrobat
- Introduction to the core Acrobat tools
- Beyond the Basics – More Powerful PDF Workflows
- Exploring Acrobat Online and PDF Spaces – note: these features are not currently available at VCU
Do you require information about getting access to Adobe Express or Adobe Acrobat Pro? If you still have questions, refer to the VCU Adobe website or submit a ticket at the VCU Adobe Support page.
- Adobe Acrobat Pro: All eligible non-student VCU employees will automatically have a new VCU Adobe account created and will also receive an Adobe Acrobat Pro license within their first week.
- Adobe Express: Faculty should complete the VCU Adobe License Request Form and request an Adobe Express account. Most instructional faculty are eligible to receive an Adobe Express account but read more about restrictions at the Adobe Cloud Access website.
In sum, even if you can’t join the AEI live, be sure to register so you have access to all the recordings to watch at your own pace.
