Biology Staff Member Receives Black History in the Making Award
Octavia Hall was honored as one of the 2020 recipients of the Black History in the Making awards by the VCU Department of African American Studies.
Originally instituted in 1983, this is only the second year in which staff members were eligible for the award. Octavia was recognized for her long career of service to the commonwealth and dedication to the fiscal well being of VCU Biology.

Octavia Hall is the Senior Fiscal Technician for the Department of Biology.
