VCU News: VCU biology professor receives $1.3M grant to study membrane transport pathways in yeast

Derek Prosser was awarded a 5-year CAREER Award by the NSF for his research into non-clathrin membrane transport pathways. This $1.3 million award will support Prosser as he studies lesser known transport pathways that are not yet well understood.
Derek Prosser is an assistant professor in the Department of Biology and principal investigator in the department’s membrane biology laboratory.
