Fiscal Year 2015  was the most successful year on record for VCU Libraries in nearly a decade, largely due to the launch of the campaign to raise funds in support of the new building.

For the July 1-June 30 2015 time frame, $499,314.00 has been booked. This total is the sum of cash gifts and pledges of $288,983.00 and $208,831.00 from in-kind donations to Special Collections and Archives (books, manuscripts, etc.). The Development Office received generous gifts from four donors. Gifts will name The Special Collections Consultation Room (for the Cabell Associates) and the Wrap-around Immersion Theater in Innovative Media (for VCU Alumni). Gifts from individuals will name two group study spaces in the new building.
