Noise alert: Loud drilling this week 7 to 9 a.m.
Starting March 18, at 7 a.m. and ending at 9 a.m., you will hear the sounds of hammer drilling on the plinth on the west side of Cabell Library. Over the next four days, drilling crews will move south and around the corner, ending at the southeast corner of the building.
The drilling will be only from 7 to 9 a.m. to minimize the disruption to students and staff.
The drilling is to install a framework to hold the new granite surface.
