Special Collections and Archives now open in Mapp Room
Patrons seeking face-to-face service from James Branch Cabell’s Special Collections and Archives staff will find the department’s office in the Mapp Room, which previously was a graduate-student only space.
Special Collections and Archives is located on the fourth floor, to the north of the elevators. The temporary reading room is next to its former suite, which is under construction.
Services hours remain the same, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are recommended, particularly during this transition and construction period when the collections are wrapped in plastic for protection.
