Librarians move up in faculty rank
Spring 2022 faculty promotions affect seven VCU Libraries faculty. Regarding these promotions, Dean Irene Herold, Ph.D., said: “What struck me the most when reviewing the library faculty’s dossiers was not only their impressive work, but also their commitment to student success. Congratulations!”
Promotions effective July 1 are Andrea Kohashi to Assistant Professor and these librarians promoted to Associate Professor:

- Laura Gariepy
- Yuki Hibben
- Bettina Peacemaker
- Talicia Tarver
