Error occurs when sending Blackboard email
Faculty are experiencing errors when sending emails from within Blackboard. This problem was first reported on Friday, March 13, 2015.
Sending email from within Blackboard results in the following error:
“An error or warning occurred while sending this email. Some or all recipients may not receive the message.”
This occurs when sending mail from Course Tools, or from Announcements.
1. Course tools -> send email to all student users.
2. Announcement -> send email button.
We are continuing our efforts this morning, and are working with Blackboard Engineers to resolve this as quickly as possible. Updates will be posted here as they become available.
