VCU “filter” added to Zoom library
For a while now, you’ve been able to choose from a collection of VCU-themed backgrounds that place you (albeit virtually) in familiar locations around our campuses. Now you have another way to brand your camera image when conducting university business online, using Zoom “filters.”
To find the VCU filter, click on the caret to the right of the camera icon when you’re in a meeting and look for the university logo in your library of filters.
Once, chosen, the VCU logo will appear at the upper left of your camera image until and unless you turn it off again.
And that’s it. Note the ability to use filters and backgrounds is reliant on your computer’s capabilities, so the options may not appear for all users. It’s also a good idea, as always, to stay updated with the latest version of the Zoom software client to make sure you have full access to this and other features.
