The VCU Zoom Blog

Announcements, Alerts, Tips and Pointers

Some users of VCU Zoom (and various other applications) may have experienced difficulty this morning accessing their accounts.

The issue should only have affected off-campus users who were logged into the VPN client while attempting to access applications that rely on the Central Authentication Service. Anyone not on the VPN when logging in at vcu.zoom.us would have been successfully passed through using the AWS server.

At this time, the issue seems to have been resolved, but it’s possible the Network Services team will need to make further changes to effect a lasting solution to the affected systems. If so and you find yourself temporarily unable to access Zoom while on the VPN, try exiting the VPN and attempt to access your Zoom account again.
