Welcome our new Program Specialist Madelyn Leigh!
Madelyn Leigh joins the TTAC at VCU team as a Program Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and French Studies from Wake Forest University and a Master of Science in Instructional Design from Grand Canyon University. She began working in Chesterfield County Public Schools as a Kindergarten Teacher at Falling Creek Elementary School. In 2024, after earning her endorsement in English as a Second Language (ESL), she transitioned to Bellwood Elementary School, where she taught ESL with a focus on reading until 2026. Madelyn is passionate about inclusive education, evidence-based literacy instruction, and empowering educators with practical strategies that support multilingual learners and students with disabilities. She is excited to partner with educators and teams across the region to foster meaningful learning experiences and improve outcomes for all students.
