Use this new smart search tool to find online learning resources
Merlot is a growing repository of free peer-reviewed online resources that can be added to your Blackboard course. Merlot search results will return learning materials in a number of different formats: animations, online lessons, PDF files, PowerPoint files, reference manuals, videos, and more.
Just recently, Merlot extended their search functionality to include materials from other online learning collections as well as the web. The default search still displays Merlot content, but a new Smart Search bar at the top of the page allows you to change that filter to Other Collections or The Web.
A recent search on “pathogens” produced the following:
- MERLOT Collection: 88 results
- Other Collections: 100 results
- The Web: 100 results
