Accept more than one multiple choice answer as correct.
Whether you teach face to face or online, there are times when the evaluation of student performance on a test will prompt a grade change. In Blackboard it’s easy to regrade or delete test questions, which immediately updates the scores of all students affected by the change. But what if running Item Analysis on a test shows a multiple choice question to be ambiguous, and you want to give students credit for selecting an answer other than the one marked as correct? It isn’t possible to change a multiple choice question to a multiple answer question after the fact, but by modifying the question to allow partial credit you can accept more than one answer.
