ALA’s Black Caucus honors Gail Littleton for professional excellence
Gail Littleton, Coordinator of Acquisitions Accounting, is an inaugural recipient of the Black Caucus of the American Library Association Support Staff Award, sponsored by Baker & Taylor.
The Black Caucus of the American Library Association (BCALA) created the award to honor dedicated and outstanding performance.
Littleton was recognized for her 40-year commitment to VCU Libraries and her continuous advancement in managing the receipt, payment, and reconciliation of the Libraries collection materials and expenditures.
“Gail’s experience, institutional knowledge, and adaptability are essential to the success of VCUL Licensing and Acquisitions,” said her supervisor, Amanda Echterling, Head of Licensing and Acquisitions.
