Save the Date: April 28 is VCU Giving Day
VCU Giving Day is Virginia Commonwealth University’s inaugural day of giving. VCU Giving Day is a day for everyone who loves VCU to join together to combine their support and maximize impact. The first VCU Giving Day will take place on Thursday, April 28, from midnight to 11:59 p.m. EST. During this 24-hour blitz filled with challenges, donor thank-yous and social media write-ups, you can make a gift to any of the four VCU Libraries funds featured as part of Giving Day or any fund at VCU Libraries. Share your support of VCU with your friends and family via social media channels to help us make the biggest impact possible.
—The Social Welfare History Project Challenge (your gift doubles through a matching grant)
—The Friends of VCU Libraries annual giving circle
—VCU Libraries’ No-Cost Textbook Initiative supported through Friends fund
Due to the short timeframe of VCU Giving Day, it is strongly encouraged that you make your donation online. Gifts made via check only count toward the Giving Day totals IF the funds are received and processed prior to VCU Giving Day. So, if you prefer to donate to VCU Giving Day by check, send it in now so it can be counted in the total. Thank you.
All checks should be made payable to “VCU Foundation” with the particular fund written on the memo line. Checks should be mailed to: VCU Libraries c/o VCU Office of Development and Alumni Relations, Box 843042, Richmond, VA 23284-3042.
