Production Echo360 Service Pack Upgrade
The critical update for production Echo360 system has been scheduled to start at 4:00pm, January 16th, 2015.
Begin Time: Friday, January 16th 4:00 PM US Eastern (UTC/GMT-4)
End Time: Friday, January 16th, 7:00 PM US Eastern (UTC/GMT-4)
Affected Users: All Echo360 Faculty and Echo360 Department Administrators
Details: I would expect the update to take no more than a couple of hours. Should anything go wrong with the update, we could roll back the database which is a 12 – 14 hour operation. If all goes well, the system should be back online around 6:00 pm, but please be aware that if we need to roll back the database, then it will be early Saturday morning (12-14 hours later) before the system is available.
Please do not schedule anything for January 16th evening until Learning Systems sends a message to this listserv group that the Echo360 production system is available for all functions. Should you need to capture something in a classroom, please consider using PCAP installed on a laptop with a supported USB webcam and only publish after your receive notice from Learning Systems that the Echo360 production systems is available for all functions. Please make sure any scheduled captures end no later than 4:00pm on Friday January 16th. Captures with recording times extending past 4:00 pm on January 16th, may be lost.
