Since the universitywide release of Compass 1.0, VCU Technology Services and University Relations have been hard at work designing and developing the features that will be available in our next release — coming in fall 2020 — which will include optimizations to existing features as well as:

  • Accessibility enhancements, such as reduced motion/transparency preferences and touch-specific styles
  • Tabbed content component (also known as tabs)
  • Notification component, which is useful for alerts and priority announcements
  • Sidebar navigation update to accommodate more than three levels
  • Typography updates

As Compass matures, you can continue to expect a seasonal cadence of discovery, planning, production, documentation and delivery.

Here’s where we would like the greater web community’s input. We need your help prioritizing features for future releases.

Vote in our poll by Aug. 30 to cast your choices.
