Commencement Weekend: An array of student work on view
During Commencement Weekend (Friday-Sunday, May 12-14)
–the Cabell Screen will showcase varied student work.
The shows will run continuously. Viewers will see title screens between groups of images and works that will include:
- “WORK,” works from the VCUarts Undergraduate Juried Show at The Anderson
- “Highlights and Chateaus,” photography majors’ senior thesis show
- “Blast Off,” an exhibit by Kinetic Imaging senior Nicasio Reid
- “Launch,” the VCU School of the Arts fashion show
- “Applique,” the VCUQatar fashion show
- “Emanata,” a comics anthology, illustrations by 16 students
- “Gifs Galore,” a gif competition from Arts Foundation students
- Graphic Design, selections from undergraduate Graphic Design students
