Showing through early October.

The first few days of the school year are always buzzing with activity at Virginia Commonwealth University. And there’s no better place to capture the vibe and the excitement than on the Compass.

In what’s become an annual custom, University Marketing set up a basic white backdrop on the Compass – just outside James Branch Cabell Library – on the second day of the semester. Students stopped by between classes to have their photos taken and share their excitement for the upcoming school year.

The result? A collection of images that paints a portrait of VCU’s wonderfully vibrant, fun-loving community. A selection of those images are shared on the Cabell Screen.
