Cabell Screen Summer Showcase
During the summer (May – August), the Cabell Screen will showcase selections of student and faculty art and some selections from library collections. The shows will run continuously throughout the days.. Viewers will see title screens between groups of images and works that will include:
- “Wildflowers” photographs from VCU Libraries Digital Collections (pictured at right)
- “Emanata” a student-run publication of undergraduate comic arts
- “The Art of Movable Books” from VCU Libraries’ Book Art Collection
- “Intersections II: Art and Science” featuring art now on view at Tompkins-McCaw Library for the Health Sciences
- “Sally Bowring” alumna and VCU Painting & Printmaking professor
- “3D Replicas” created by Dr. Bernard Means of the Virtual Curation Lab
- “VCUarts Undergraduate Juried Show” from the class of 2017
- “Dr. Shiv Khanna and Dr. Arthur Means” physics faculty work
- “Neurons Under the Microscope” from Ashley Purdy, a masters student in Neurobiology
