Rose McMullen graduated with her Master of Public Health from VCU’s School of Public Health in May 2026. Earlier that spring, she presented her capstone project on a topic she’s actively invested in: teaching kids to swim.

Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Public Health debuts five microcredential badges in public health. Students can now expand on their education and career potential by adding a badge in Applied Public Health, Cancer Prevention and Control Science, Epidemiology, Health Policy, and Public Health Communication.
