Simplifying Student Payments: New Tool for Departments
We are excited to announce a new feature on our website designed to simplify the process of making payments to students. This update is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency and ensure smooth transactions for all departments.
Check Direct Deposit Setup Easily
In the “I Want to Pay an Individual” section of our website, departments can now find a link to look up whether a student already has a direct deposit account set up in Banner. To use this feature, you will need the student’s V#.

- If the student has a direct deposit account: You will receive a “yes” response. In this case, please use the One-Time Payment Request form in RealSource to process the payment to the student.
- If the student does not have a direct deposit account: You will receive a “no” response. For these students, use Candex to process the payment, provided it falls under one of the categories being paid through Candex.
By following these steps, you can ensure that payments are processed efficiently and accurately. We appreciate your cooperation and attention to these new guidelines, which are designed to benefit all parties involved.
