A New Catering Partner for VCU — Introducing America To Go
We’re pleased to announce that the Office of Procurement Services at VCU has entered into an agreement with America To Go (ATG) to consolidate and streamline our catering orders across campus and bring all catering transactions into compliance.
Why we made this change
Over the last several months our team worked closely with internal campus units and external stakeholders to evaluate catering providers based on service quality, pricing, reliability and alignment with VCU’s mission of operational efficiency and stewardship. In our review, America To Go stood out — offering industry-leading customer service and the lowest rates in our competitive process.
What it means for you
- Moving forward, departments scheduling catered events will use the America To Go RealSource e-catalog — simplifying order placement, billing, and vendor coordination.
- Because we now have one preferred vendor, the process becomes more consistent, predictable, and makes sure all purchases are compliant.
- America To Go’s strong customer-service reputation means fewer last-minute surprises and better follow-through at your event.
