Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) is excited to announce the launch of a new supplier payment optimization campaign in partnership with Bank of America and Bottomline.

Through this initiative, VCU suppliers will be invited to enroll in either:

  • Basic/Premium ACH via Paymode-X for secure electronic deposits, or
  • Virtual Payables via a Virtual Card for streamlined credit card payments.

Both options offer faster payment times, enhanced remittance visibility, and improved security.

Why Are We Doing This?
VCU is committed to reducing check processing costs, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring payments are made in a secure, reliable manner. Transitioning more suppliers to electronic payment methods supports these goals and benefits our supplier community.

What Should Suppliers Expect?
Suppliers will soon receive communications directly from Bottomline or Bank of America. These are legitimate and authorized by VCU. Vendors can find additional information and FAQs on our supplier webpage here.
