🚱 Bottled Water Service Issues – Recommended Vendor Alternative
Procurement Services has received multiple reports from departments experiencing serious issues with one of the bottled water delivery vendors currently in use across campus.
These issues include:
- Missed or severely delayed deliveries (sometimes weeks without service)
- Lack of response from the vendor’s customer service team
- Continued invoicing for equipment despite non-delivery
- Unexpected messaging about delays without clear explanation or follow-up
One department shared that they haven’t received water since June, while another reported unreturned calls and broken equipment that has gone unserviced for months.
🔍 What’s the situation?
It appears this vendor may be undergoing internal changes or restructuring. At this time, they do not hold an active contract with VCU or the Commonwealth of Virginia, and our team has not been able to establish productive contact despite repeated attempts.
