Being Inclusive on the Web
The internet has revolutionized the way we access information, but unfortunately, not all of that information is accessible to everyone. Inaccessible content on the web creates barriers for those with disabilities, limiting their ability to engage with and benefit from what the online world has to offer. This issue extends beyond just text and images – videos, audio files, and software also frequently lack the necessary features to be accessible to all. It’s important for website designers and developers to prioritize accessibility when creating online content, to ensure that everyone can navigate and utilize the internet equally. There are guidelines and tools available to help make digital content more accessible, and by implementing them, we can work towards a more inclusive online experience for all.
