VCU Parking and Transportation offers a discounted single-use daily permit for employees who do not currently hold a VCU parking subscription. Permits are valid for up to 24 hours per day in designated parking facilities on the Monroe Park and MCV Campuses at the cost of $8 per day and may be purchased in advance and used when needed.

*Note: Daily permits are only available to VCU and VCU Health System employees and are non-refundable. Students or visitors found in possession of a daily permit may be subject to a $300 penalty.

*In/out privileges are not applicable for single-use daily permits.

*Permits are only valid on the campus for which the permit is purchased.

Purchasing an MCV Campus permit:

Scratch-off permits for designated MCV Campus parking facilities are available for employees without a monthly parking subscription. They can be purchased in-person in advance at the customer service office located at 659 N. Eighth St. and used when needed.

To use: Daily permit holders can park in any of the following open locations (I Lot, A Lot, A Lot at Main St. Station, or R Lot) for up to 24 hours per day. In the event one’s selected parking location is full, the permit holder should travel to an alternate location. The specific month and day must be completely scratched off upon display for the permit to be considered valid.

Purchasing a Monroe Park Campus permit:

Employees may purchase single-use daily permits online for the West Broad St. Deck, West Cary St. Deck, or West Main St. Deck at the cost of $8 per day. No more than ten active permits will be issued to an employee at one time. All Monroe Park Campus single-use permits purchased in fall 2020 will expire on December 31, 2020.

To use: Daily Monroe Park Campus permits will be emailed to purchasers within two to three business days of the request. Permit holders should pull a ticket upon entry at the selected facility and validate the permit using the QR code reader upon exiting at the gate. In the event the selected location is full, the permit holder can park in an alternate location (West Broad St. Deck, West Cary St. Deck, or West Main St. Deck).
