Duval Street Temporarily Closed on September 23 – UPDATE- Project Postponed

We recently notified you that Duval Street would be closed between the N Deck and the entrance to D Deck on Saturday, September 23, from 8 am until 12 pm.

Please be advised that this project has been postponed.  You will be able to access the D Deck as normal on Saturday.

We will notify you in the event this project is rescheduled.  In the meantime, if you have any questions, please contact customer service at 828-PARK (7275).


September 20 – Portion of Duval Street Closed on September 23

On Saturday, September 23, from 8 am until 12 pm, Duval Street will be closed between the N Deck (top of the hill; will be unable to make a right onto Duval Street) and the entrance to the D Deck.

Please note, the entrance to the D Deck will still be accessible from the Marshall Street side, but not Duval Street, during these times.

September 18 – Reminder: WBSD Elevator Modernization Begins Tomorrow!

We would like to remind you that phase one of the West Broad Street Deck elevator renovations will begin tomorrow.  During the first phase of this project, crews will close the two elevators located inside the center tower until approximately Tuesday, November 14.

Please note, both Shafer Street side elevators will remain open for utilization during this time.


September 19 – RTD Deck Closed for Striping Sept. 23 & 24

We ask that subscribers remove their vehicles from the facility during these times.  The deck will re-open at 4 pm on each day.

September 15 – Upcoming WBSD Elevator Modernization Project

We will undergo a complete renovation of all West Broad Street Deck elevators in the coming months.  This project will be completed in two phases, with one set of elevators closed to customer traffic at a time.

The first phase of renovation will take place on Tuesday, September 19.  Crews will close the two elevators located inside the center tower until approximately Tuesday, November 14.

During this time, the two Shafer Street side elevators will remain open for utilization.

We appreciate your cooperation as we complete this elevator modernization project.  We will continue to keep you updated as work progresses.


September 13 – Upcoming events 9/19 & 9/20; Expect increased traffic

The School of Business will host a career fair on Tuesday, September 19, and the School of Engineering will host a similar fair on Wednesday, September 20. Both fairs will take place from approximately 7 am to 3 pm. During these events, some participants will be utilizing the BL Lot and Jefferson Street Deck.

Please be mindful of increased traffic at these locations during the designated days/times.


September 11 – Sept. 15 Coliseum Deck Impacts

Extensive road closures on Leigh, Clay and Marshall Streets are expected to begin at approximately 4 pm on Friday, September 15. These road closures will prohibit access to the Coliseum Deck.

All Coliseum Deck subscribers are strongly encouraged to park in the D Deck on Friday, September 15, if you are unable to exit the facility by 4 pm.  Your existing VCU parking permit or VCUCard will allow you access into this facility.  The D Deck is located at 515 N. 13 Street.

Additionally, transit service to the Coliseum Deck stop will be suspended beginning at 4 pm on September 15.
