Winter Closing 2016 Transit/Parking Impacts
Campus Connector:
The Campus Connector will operate on its normal schedule through Friday, December 16. The Connector Express will discontinue service on December 16 and resume on January 16.
- Saturday, December 17 and Sunday, December 18, 2016: There will be no Connector service
- Monday, December 19 through Thursday, December 22, 2016: The Connector operates from 7 am-7 pm
- Friday, December 23, 2016, through Sunday, January 1, 2017: There will be no Connector service
- Alternate Parking: One Cap Square Deck, W Deck, K Deck, Coliseum Deck, and PA Deck employee subscribers may park in the D Deck or Eighth Street Deck on Friday, December 23.
- Monday, January 2 through Friday, January 6: The Connector operates from 7 am- 7 pm
- Saturday, January 7 and Sunday, January 8: There will be no Connector service
- Monday, January 9 through Friday, January 13: The Connector operates from 7 am- 7 pm
The Campus Connector resumes its normal service hours beginning on Saturday, January 14, 2017.
A Lot, I Lot, M Lot, R Lot Shuttles:
- The VCU Medical Center’s A Lot, I Lot, M Lot and R Lot routes will operate on their normal schedules, with the exception of December 23, December 26 and January 2. These routes will not be serviced on these three days.
- Alternate Parking: All A Lot, I Lot, M Lot and R Lot employee subscribers should park in the D Deck or Eighth Street Deck on Friday, December 23, Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2.
RamSafe:
RamSafe will operate on its normal schedule (5 pm-8 am) throughout the 2016 winter closing, with the exception of Friday, December 23 through Sunday, December 25. On these days, RamSafe will operate from 5 pm to 1 am.
Please note, our customer service offices will be closed from December 23, 2016, until January 2, 2016, in observance of the VCU winter closing. In the event you need emergency parking assistance during this time, please contact the Enforcement Supervisor on duty at 804-971-0450.
