Friends of VCU Libraries Book Club sets fall reading schedule
With a busy fall on the horizon at VCU Libraries, the Friends of VCU Libraries Book Club has set a schedule and invites you to join us for discussion of these books, all of which are tied to upcoming events at VCU.
The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature by J. Drew Lanham on Sunday, September 24. Lanham will deliver VCU Libraries’ Social Justice Lecture the following week on the evening of Thursday September 28.
Seek You: A Journey Through American Loneliness by Kristen Radtke on Sunday October 15. This will follow the Common Book Lecture that is set for Wednesday October 11. Image: Book jacket and author.
The Rabbit Hutch by Tess Gunty on Sunday November 12. The author (the winner of the VCU Cabell First Novelist Award 2023) will speak at VCU Libraries on Monday, November 13.
