Blackboard Faculty – Fall 2018 – End-of-Semester Announcements
Dear VCU Faculty,
As the the end of the Fall 2018 semester quickly approaches, Learning Systems would like to share some important eLearning reminders, resources and news with you.
Target Date set for the next major upgrade to eLearning (Blackboard) at VCU
The VCU eLearning system will be upgraded to Blackboard Learn 9.1 Q4 2018 on May 14, 2019. Blackboard will be unavailable from 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 14th until 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 15th. More details about the upgrade and new features will be shared soon!
Final Grades and Downloading the Blackboard Grade Center
Bb’s Grade Center is NOT the official source for grades. Grade sheets are available on faculty eServices. Final grades are due by noon on Wednesday, December 20th, 2018 (this is a date change).
Downloading the Bb Grade Center can be done at any time, but we strongly recommend faculty download the Grade Center in their Bb courses at the end of the semester, to retain the most accurate data for future grade references. Click here for download instructions.
