Reminder: Last Semester Lon-Capa is Available for Use
This is the last semester that faculty, staff, and students can use Lon-Capa; it will be discontinued on July 1, 2025. If you want more information about this announcement and the reasons behind this decision, visit the Farewell Lon-Capa blog post.
Now is the perfect time to start considering your next steps. Möbius, a product from DigitalEd, has been procured and integrated into Canvas as an alternative. For more information about Möbius and how to get started, visit the Discover Möbius post.
You can import content into Möbius in the following ways:
- Import content from your hard drive (e.g., other Möbius content)
- Import and convert your assignment document (e.g., from a Word document)
- Import content from Canvas.
For upcoming training opportunities, visit the VCU Training website (keyword: Mobius). These sessions will allow you to bring your specific questions and needs directly to a DigitalEd support representative.
We encourage you to get started and don’t hesitate to ask questions. The next Möbius Training and Feedback session will take place on May 14, 2025, at 11 am.
If possible, please submit your questions or feedback beforehand using the Möbius Questions and Feedback form. If you are unable to attend, you are still encouraged to submit your questions via the form. All questions will be answered and posted on our Training Recording page.
