Blackboard Datacenter Maintenance – Service Interruption Expected
We have been notified by Blackboard Managed Hosting that they will be performing DataCenter Maintenance from 2:00-6:00am on Friday, May 8. The VCU Blackboard system may be unavailable during this maintenance window.
Due to the VCU academic schedule we have escalated our concerns to Blackboard Management regarding the timing of this maintenance. Unfortunately, they are unable to exclude any clients from the May 8th maintenance as it involves core networking devices. They have acknowledged our concerns, apologized for the inconvenience and will do everything possible to minimize the impact.
