Endo radiology update
Aniket Jadhav, D.D.S., M.D.S., M.S.H.A. Associate professor Director, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, staff and faculty worked very hard to complete all radiology courses in a timely fashion. Upgrades, new equipment and technology help keep us up to date and more.
Staying up to date
The clinic is now equipped with new XDR digital sensors that replaced the aging PSP technology. Sensors provide state-of-the art intraoral imaging.
The conference room was recently upgraded with new computers for the CBCT lab sessions to train our D3 students on new generation 3D CBCT technology. More information will follow soon.
Oral and maxillofacial radiologists are now providing radiology reports for the CBCT scans taken in the VCU School of Dentistry. Scans can be viewed via internal referral consults in axiUm. Contact Dr. Jadhav for more information. The clinic is equipped with limited field CBCT and is available to pre-doc, resident, and faculty practice providers.
