Is your student looking for off-campus housing or curious about how to balance a budget? VCU Off-Campus Student Services has several exciting events coming up during the second half of March and throughout April designed to help students with those tough topics.

Students, parents, faculty, and staff can find out information on available apartments and talk to landlords or property management companies. The VCU Off-Campus Housing Fair will be held this Thursday, March 14 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, in the Commonwealth Ballroom in the University Student Commons.

These workshops provide students with information on how to create a basic budget, including how to budget for living expenses, savings, pay back debt and incorporate their personal values into the budgeting process. These workshops will be held on March 12, March 21, April 2, April 8, April 18, April 24, April 29 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm in the Alumni Boardroom in the University Student Commons.

You’ll learn about deposits, leases, budgets, tenant/landlord rights and much more. Sessions will take place in the Student Leadership Center in the University Student Commons on March 13 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, March 21 from 2:00 pm- 3:00 pm, April 5 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, April 8 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, April 16 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
