Nourishing our community with a Little Ram Pantry
As we work to improve the health, well-being and equity of our greater community, we strive to take care of our own community at One Capitol Square.
The VCU Ram Pantry, run by the Office of Student Advocacy, is a great resource but not always convenient for our students and people working at OCS. Therefore, the Social & Service Committee at the School of Public Health has set up a satellite food pantry available to all members of SOPH.

The pantry is located on the 9th floor, right outside the student lounge. It is stocked in part by donations from the VCU Ram Pantry. However, more items are needed to support our community. Those who are able are invited to donate items. For ideas, review the Ram Pantry’s list of most-needed items.
We know having enough to eat plays a direct role in a person’s ability to work, study and engage in their communities. The hope is that this pantry can help bridge the gap and be a support for anyone struggling with food insecurity.
