Congratulations, Dickson Donu & Shadid Zaman!!
It is my pleasure to announce that two of our PhD students, Dickson Donu (Advisor Yana Cen) and Shadid Zaman (Advisor: Jiong Li) won oral presentation awards at the recent VCU Symposium in the graduate student category. The titles of their talks were “Targeting Plasmodium falciparum Sir2 for the development of novel antimalarials” (Basic Science Category) and “Targeting KDM3 family of epigenetic regulators using IOX1 based PROTAC can suppress colorectal cancer tumorigenesis through inhibition of WNT pathway” (Cancer Research Category), respectively.
