Audition Rotation

Riverside Family Medicine offers 2- or 4- week audition rotation to current 4th year medical students who are interested in matching with our program.

Students will spend half their time seeing patients under faculty and resident survervision in the outpatient residency office and the other half working with the residency night shift inpatient teams at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Other opportunities include noon didactics, faculty lectures, and specaily experiences such as Lifestyle Clinic and OMT Clinic.

Rotations are offered starting at the beginning of the M4 year until the end of January of the M4 year. Placement is first come first served bases on application completed date.

We offer housing if available and if given significant notice. Housing is a 3 bedroom apartment provided by the Riverside Regional Medical Education Department. The apartment has two bathrooms, a dining area, living room and each room has 2 twin beds. Apartments are shared with up to 5 other Riverside medical students. Meals may be purchased at the hospital cafeteria, however, the apartment has kitchen facilities for cooking. Heat and air are controlled by the occupants.

Scheduling Process

We will start accepting applications late February to early March. We will contact you after receiving your application as soon as possible based on the volume of applications. Students will be scheduled in the order of submission. You will receive a confirmation email of your rotation date. Three weeks prior to your rotation, you will received additional paperwork to complete and instructions for completing online modules for electronic record access.
