Program Director Bradley Touchet, MD

Riverside Family Medicine Residency, accredited on January 23, 1971, is one of the oldest family medicine programs in the country. Our emphasis on information technology allows us to provide the highest quality care for our patients and the greatest access to evidence-based knowledge for our residents. A high faculty-to-resident ratio allows residents independence to manage their own patients and creates a great teaching environment to learn patient care. Our strong collegial atmosphere is a unique trademark of the Riverside Family Medicine Residency Program. We continue to be committed to producing the finest family medicine physicians in the nation.

Osteopathic Recognition Director Joy S. Elliott, D.O.

2. Recruit and train medical students to become excellent family physicians who will practice in Virginia. We have an extensive exposure to medical students which adds to the rich milieu of the residency experience for students, residents, and faculty.
