Favorite thing about residency: Favorite thing about this residency is the people. The residents and attendings are all extremely welcoming and willing to help and teach.
Favorite thing about Newport News: The variety of things to do in the area. The variety of things in the cities that are very close by.
Goals after residency: Hopefully working at a Family Practice Clinic in the Hampton Roads area.

Favorite thing about residency: Being surrounded by like minded people who are supportive
Favorite thing about Newport News: There are so many outdoor activities nearby with opportunities for hiking, boating, and swimming. We’re also located so close to Richmond and Norfolk so we have the benefit of short trips to the city also.
Goals after residency: I’ve thought about joining a group practice in the area, but who knows at this point?? The opportunities are endless.
There are so many waterfront houses and condos nearby that are affordable if that is your dream!

Favorite thing about residency: All the faculty are so helpful and want you to succeed. Great co-residents also make the residency so much better!
Favorite thing about Newport News: All the shops I need are close by, and we’re so close to so many fun places and cities!
Goals after residency: Outpatient (maybe some inpatient) practice, location is flexible.
Hobbies: Writing, drawing, video games, reading, and various other things. They’re always in rotation!

Favorite thing about residency: The people – that was really te best selling point for me. Additionally the program is very well rounded in all my areas of interest; especially Lifestyle Medicine, which is not available everywhere.
Favorite thing about Newport News: Lots of trails and outdoor activities, close to Norfolk, NC, and Northern VA which is convenient to visit family.
Goals after residency: Working on it.

Goals after residency: Possibly fellowship, undecided, and hopefully practice somewhere in Virginia or on the East Coast.
