Join Virginia Commonwealth University as we honor the life, legacy, and enduring vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through an evening of dialogue, reflection, and artistic expression centered on the power of thriving communities. This signature MLK Week event brings together VCU faculty, staff, students, and community partners for meaningful conversation, creative performances, and opportunities for connection.

You are invited to a dynamic evening honoring Dr. King’s legacy through a powerful panel discussion, inspiring performances, and community giving. The evening will include a moderated panel discussion led by Dr. Qasarah Bey Spencer., featuring community leaders DreMon Miller, Angela Patton, and Elijah Lee. In addition, there will be artistic performances by the Black Awakening Choir and Khalil Houston, Spoken Word Artist. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the Ram Pantry food drive, and/or a coat for VCU’s annual coat drive.
