2025 VCU Distinguished Faculty Awards Call for Nominations
Dear Colleagues,
As VCU enrollment continues to increase, as the university sets new records for funded research, and as our national rankings continue to rise, our faculty personify our mission to advance knowledge and help students succeed. In order to draw attention to some of your outstanding work, I am honored to issue a call for nominations for the 2025 Distinguished Faculty Awards Program.
Since 1982, VCU has celebrated the faculty who support our mission with distinction and exemplify what is best about the University at our annual fall Convocation. The categories for the Distinguished Faculty Awards include:
● Distinguished Teaching Award – $3,500 and non-monetary gift
● Distinguished Scholarship Award – $3,500 and non-monetary gift
● Distinguished Service Award – $3,500 and non-monetary gift
● Outstanding Early Career Faculty Award – $3,500 and non-monetary gift
● Outstanding Term Faculty Award – $3,500 and non-monetary gift
● Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award – $3,500 and non-monetary gift
● University Award of Excellence – $5,000 and non-monetary gift
