Personal Vehicle Use for University Travel: Updated Guidelines
Effective February 11, 2026, VCU has implemented the GSA Privately Owned Vehicle (POV) rate for certain travel reimbursements. Use of a personal vehicle for official university business that is based primarily on convenience, personal comfort, or individual preference will be reimbursed at this reduced GSA Mileage Rate.
