Supporting the Rams
The Rams reached an impressive milestone over the weekend: their seventh consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament. To be able to participate in March Madness is quite an achievement and I am proud of all the hard work the team has put in on the court and in the classroom. The positive recognition VCU has received over the years is well-deserved.
I encourage the VCU community to show their school spirit on Thursday as the Rams prepare for their first round of play in Salt Lake City. I hope you will be able to cheer for the Rams Thursday night as they take on St. Mary’s in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
I am grateful that so many people at VCU, and in Richmond, have supported our university, our student-athletes and our commitment to excellence in every way. Thank you for continuing that support throughout the NCAA Tournament, and beyond.
