VCU Parking and Transportation

News & information

The online permit sale process to secure parking for spring 2021 will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 10 on the MCV Campus and Wednesday, Dec. 2 on the Monroe Park Campus. On-campus housing permits (24/7 commuter permits) will be available for purchase on November 17, 2020.

MCV Campus parking sale

Due to demand, MCV Campus permits will be sold via a lottery system.

  • Beginning at 9 a.m. on November 10, 2020, all students interested in purchasing an MCV Campus commuter permit will be able to log in to apps.parking.vcu.edu/mcvwebsales to select your top parking preferences. The lottery will close at 4 p.m. on November 12.
  • The system will automatically assign a number to all applicants. In the event your number is selected via a random generator, you will receive an email notification on November 16 with your award and a link to purchase your permit online on November 17.
  • Recipients will have 72 hours to accept and purchase the awarded permit before forfeiture.

Any unclaimed permits from the lottery will be sold online on a first-come, first-served basis at 9 a.m. on Monday, November 23. Additional information regarding this process can be found at parking.vcu.edu/parking/students/mcv-campus-sale/.
