Thanksgiving Holiday Parking, Customer Service and RamRide Service Changes
In observance of VCU’s Thanksgiving break, standard RamRide service will be unavailable on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. However, a limited service route will be available from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both days. Impacted subscribers should utilize the following alternate parking arrangements:
Alternate parking arrangements
- O Lot Subscribers: Park in the Eighth Street Deck.
- A Lot (Oliver Hill) Subscribers: Park in the Eighth Street Deck or continue to park in A Lot (please note, RamRide service will not be provided from A Lot).
- A Lot (Main Street Station) Subscribers: Park in N Deck or continue to park in Main Street Station (RamRide service will not be provided from A Lot).
- I Deck Subscribers: Park in the Eighth Street Deck.
Your license plate and/or VCU ID card will grant you access to the alternate parking decks during this period. If you encounter issues entering or exiting, press the “i” button for assistance.
Limited RamRide Route
A limited RamRide route will operate on November 28 and 29. Two buses will run continuously from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. with stops at:
- Eighth Street Deck
- Sanger Hall
- 11th and Clay Streets
Customer Service Office Hours
- The Monroe Park Campus Parking Office will be closed from Wednesday, November 27, through Friday, November 29, and will reopen on Monday, December 2.
- The MCV Campus Parking Office will be open through Wednesday, November 27, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and reopen on Monday, December 2.
Reminders
- RamRide has transitioned to the Ride Pingo app, available on VCU Mobile and through the Google Play and Apple app stores. Use this platform to track buses in real time.
- Standard RamRide service will resume on Monday, December 2.
