Fall 2024 parking permit sales
The online permit sale process for securing parking for the fall 2024 semester will begin in the coming weeks. Please review the upcoming dates to ensure you are prepared for the parking sale for your designated campus.
As a reminder, all VCU parking permits are now virtual and linked to your license plate, so hangtags will no longer be mailed. Starting at 12:01 a.m. on August 1, your fall virtual parking permit will activate and be linked to the license plate(s) associated with the permit. If you need assistance linking your permit, please review the instructions at go.vcu.edu/lpr. Students can register up to two vehicles on their parking account.
Monroe Park Campus parking sales
The Monroe Park Campus parking sale for housing and 24/7 commuter permits will take place on Tuesday, June 25, at 9 a.m. Standard commuter permits will be available on Tuesday, July 30. All Monroe Park Campus permits are purchased online on a first-come, first-served basis.
MCV Campus parking sale
Due to demand, MCV Campus permits are allocated through a lottery system.
Commuter permit selection: Starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 15, students can log in to apps.parking.vcu.edu/mcvwebsales to indicate their parking preferences. The lottery remains open until 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 18.
Permit award and purchase: If your name is randomly selected, you will receive an email notification on Monday, July 22, with your permit award and a link to purchase it online.
Permit purchase window: Recipients can purchase their permit starting on Tuesday, July 23, at 9 a.m. until Friday, July 26, at 4 p.m. Please accept and purchase your awarded permit within this timeframe to avoid forfeiture.
Unclaimed permits will be available for online purchase on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 29. For more details, please visit parking.vcu.edu/parking/students/mcv-campus-sale/.
