VCU is now an Accredited Parking Organization with Distinction
We are thrilled to share that after months of dedicated effort, VCU Parking and Transportation has successfully achieved the prestigious status of an Accredited Parking Organization (APO), with the noteworthy distinction of Accredited with Distinction from the International Parking and Mobility Institute.
This accomplishment places VCU among the top 10% of parking organizations in the country, exceeding the 80% threshold required for accreditation. Additionally, we submitted three facilities to the APO Board: West Broad St. Deck, West Main St. Deck, and Eighth St. Deck. We are proud to announce that each facility has been awarded Premier Facility status.
Achieving accreditation requires a commitment to continuous evaluation and improvement, while adhering to industry best practices. Our distinction as an APO with Distinction highlights our exceptional performance that surpasses the standard. VCU stands as the sole university in Virginia to achieve APO status and the only entity with accreditation with distinction in the state.
