JANUARY

Fulbright UK Summer InstitutesThursday, January 18 @ 2:00 pm (Hybrid)
This session is intended for first- and second-year students with a GPA of 3.7 or higher and little travel experience outside of the US. The Fulbright UK Summer Institutes are 3- or 4-week study abroad programs at prestigious universities in the UK, funded by the US-UK Fulbright Commission. Register here!

Join us to learn more about the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, which provides funding for recent graduates and graduate students to spend an academic year abroad pursuing an independent project or a year of postgraduate study, or teaching English. Register here!

NSF Graduate Research Fellowship ProgramFriday, February 9 @ 3 pm (Hybrid)
Juniors, seniors, and first- and second-year graduate students in STEM fields are encouraged to join us to learn more about the National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP), which funds up to three years of graduate study in non-medical STEM disciplines. Register here!

How to Apply Workshop Series: Tuesdays, March 12-April 9, 5-7pm or Sundays, March 17-April 14, 6-8pm (Zoom)
The NSO will be offering a *FREE* 5-part workshop series that will prepare participants to tackle major applications for postgraduate scholarships, including the Fulbright U.S. Student program. This workshop has been approved as a REAL Level 2 experience and is intended for juniors, seniors, graduate students, and alumni. The two sections are identical, so please register for only one. Harvard Public Policy & Leadership Conference (HPPLC) Information Session Wednesday, April 17 @ 3:00 pm (Hybrid)
Second or third year undergraduate students interested in public service are encouraged to join the NSO to learn more about HPPLC. HPPLC is a fully-paid weekend long conference dedicated to teaching students about what it means to study public policy in a graduate school environment. Register here!

Goldwater ScholarshipFriday, April 26 @ 11:00 am (Hybrid)
Intended for sophomores and juniors intending to pursue graduate research in the STEM fields, this session will provide information on the Goldwater Scholarship, which awards its scholars with up to $7500 for educational expenses and a mentoring network. Register here!

RISE Germany/ProfessionalFriday, April 26 @ 2:00 pm (Hybrid)
This session are intended for undergraduates with at least one year of study remaining and current graduate students in STEM-field majors. Learn about RISE, a three-month research internship in Germany (working language is English). Get a two-fer study abroad and research experience (funded)!! Register here!
